eBay have announced that from May 19^th until September 30^th the gallery picture listing upgrade will be free on eBay UK and eBay ie. This is the small image which appears next to your listing in the search results and normally costs £0.15/€0.20.

When eBay revised their listing fees earlier in the year, they announced that the gallery picture would be included free of charge for all listings on the eBay.com site and I was disappointed that this concession was not also made available to sellers on the eBay UK and other country sites. But now at least we have it free for the traditionally quieter summer months.

If you have not used the gallery picture in the past, this is the perfect opportunity for you to test whether or not this upgrade can improve your sales.

So when listing your items from 19^th May onwards, remember to tick the box to include the gallery image. It’s not often eBay gives us something for nothing so we may as well take full advantage of it while we can!
