Fishing for Niches by Debbie Henry (review)

Debbie Henry is an eBay trained education specialist who has been buying and selling on eBay since 2002.  Like many of us, she began her eBay venture by selling things she and her family no longer needed, then moved on to buying anything that caught her eye at flea markets and garage sales. Using her gut instinct she managed to find some winners, but with no real criteria and a garage that was rapidly becoming full of random products she realised that if she wanted to build a profitable eBay business she would need to take a more structured approach.

After much trial and error she eventually figured out a simple, free way to quickly find in-demand items that consistently end in high auction prices and identify that item’s best listing practices at the same time. As Debbie herself says, “how cool is that?” :-D

In “Fishing for Niches” she explains how you can create your own personal list of inexpensive ‘hot items’ that reflect your interests, are easy to source in your local area, and could easily turn a profit on eBay. She then shows you how to compile it into a portable list that you can keep with you on your buying expeditions.

After reading through the book I put Debbie’s plan to the test in a niche that I hadn’t previously considered, and which was totally different to the niche she used as an example. Her step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and in little more than 30 minutes I had a list of several in-demand products to look out for on my next sourcing trip.

Could I have discovered these hot products without the help of “Fishing for Niches”? The honest answer to that question is yes, but it would have taken me much longer if I were not using Debbie’s creative method. And I would certainly not have thought of organising my list in the simple and convenient way that she suggests.

As “Fishing for Niches” is being sold through Clickbank and is protected by their 60-day unconditional guarantee, there is absolutely no risk in taking a look. You can find out more about it here.
