I completely agree! But it is nice to sell used books you don’t need to fellow students who ‘are’ in need. Not to mention you might find some books you need too.

I love your style of writing and enjoy reading your blog posts which are so different from the norm! You say you want to develop your creative ability for your own enjoyment, but as you have the talent why not make money with it as well? It doesn’t have to be one or the other

As for your ‘friend’ Mike, I know him well He seems to be lurking around every corner of the Internet Marketing world but as he stands out a mile with his fake orange tan and his flash car it’s easy to take evasive action when you see him coming.

I must admit that although primarily interested in Internet Marketing I have recently also started to become interested in Creative Writing (see my couple of recent blog posts) and one of my goals this year is to try to see if I can develop this creative ability (mainly for my own enjoyment – not money). However, like you say, it can be so easy to become distracted!

It’s nice of you to drop by, and thanks for the advice. You’re quite right about unsubscribing to mailing lists and avoiding all the other distractions! I cut the lists I was on to an absolute minimum at the end of last year and I’m determined to keep it that way. But I still need to be more disciplined about focusing on one thing at a time instead of jumping from one thing to another.

I haven’t been on the Website Wealth Wizards website for a while so it’s time I dropped in to say hello and see what everyone is up to.

Start by unsubscribing to mailing lists that aren’t useful and limit the time you spend in forums and surfing the internet as they can distract you from what you want to do.

Plus make good use of your time when you are online by concentrating on what will make you some money first and the other stuff can wait until you are making money.

GREAT post! One thing I wanted to add… when selling these old keys, make SURE you put the following keywords in:

“flat back”, “Altered Art”, and most importanly “STEAMPUNK”. The Steampunk niche is hot, hot, hot!!! Check it out… it is WELL worth your time and effort. My big challenge is how to profit in the Steampunk niche using public domain stuff… hmmmm….:)
